How do I get started with Deal Bell?

We’re excited to have you! Go to this link or hit the “TRY IT FREE” button seen on this page and you’ll be taken through a process to sign up.

How much does Deal Bell cost?

You can get full access to Deal Bell for just $47 a month. Each skiptrace costs $0.10.

Do you support list uploads from other suppliers?

Yes! We currently support list uploads from Propelio and Propstream. You can also upload your own custom lists using this template here.

How do I upload lists into Deal Bell?

We’ve made uploading lists super easy! Watch this video or:

  1. Once logged into Deal Bell, hit the “Upload” button in the top right corner
  2. Select the “List Upload” tab
  3. Choose the option where your list is from. Your list has to be in the exact format you downloaded the lists in and in CSV format. You can also upload your own custom list by using the “Custom Upload” option and importing your entries into this template
  4. If you want, you can tag your list with one of our pre-built tags, your existing custom tags or even create a new tag there and then
  5. And finally, choose whether you want to skiptrace your list there and then, or skiptrace later!

List Upload Issues

I’m having issues scrolling all the way to the the bottom of my uploaded lists. Is this supposed to happen?

To improve speed on the site, we put on the STACKS page to only load 50 entries at a time, and then when you scroll further down, it will load another 50 (and so on). This is why you may experience a little delay. What we found was when trying to load around 1000-3000 entries at once, it was becoming really slow for people on older hardware, such as old Windows PC’s and Macbooks. However, we are looking to improve this!

When trying to upload lists, I see the error “Error file type Please only use CSV files.”

I have a Chromebook and list uploads aren’t working

Deal Bell is currently supported on all systems including Mac, Microsoft and Chromebook products. However, we are seeing issues where users with Chromebook products are having problems uploading lists. I have a Microsoft Surface and list uploads aren’t working

Deal Bell is currently supported on all systems including Mac, Microsoft and Chromebook products. However, we are seeing issues where users with Microsoft Surface products are having problems uploading lists. If this is an issue you’re experiencing, please contact us on info@dealbell.io and we’ll get this resolved for you.

Is there a limit on how many entries can be on a list?

There are zero limits on how many lists you can upload. Each list upload however has a maximum of 10,000 properties.

Skiptracing and others

What is the minimum information needed to run a skiptrace?

Great question! Simply, the Deal Bell will take what it can get from what you provide. It will work best of course with the most data. The more data you provide, the more accurate the result. The system will attempt to skiptrace with what is “Priority 1”, which is FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, and ADDRESS (line 1 and 2). If all of the information isn’t available, it’ll use what it can. However ADDRESS LINE 1 and 2 are essential. The minimum that will be used to skiptrace is the full ADDRESS meaning ADDRESS LINE 1 and ADDRESS LINE 2. In summary, the system will always work should you try skiptrace a property if you only have PROPERTY ADDRESS.

How do I flag the contacts I’ve already called? And is there a way to set up reminders?

Reminders are coming soon – you might have noticed the “ACTIVITIES” tab at the top. Any lead you are actively working on, we would mark as a deal and then enter notes from the call which would be time-stamped on that Deal’s profile. Then you can keep track of which ones are active, won or lost. A very strong follow-up feature is coming very soon.

Deal Bell doesn’t have a lot of the features I need. What can I do?

Our mission is to create the best platform for people just like you, which is why if you don’t see some or a lot of the features you wanted from Deal Bell, we’ve created a little section where you can Request A Feature. To access this feature, watch this video or head over to your dashboard. In the top right next to you profile picture, hit the dropdown menu and select “Request A Feature”. Become part of the Deal Bell family and it won’t be long before you have a product which you won’t be able to live without!
